Derek Reese
Teacher, nationally recognized choreography specializing in jazz
and lyrical styles. Mr. Reese teaches all over the country
and is known for his ability to encourage students to their full
potential. He judges and instructs for several national
dance competitions and conventions along with co-directing his
own studio in Louisiana. His high-energy classes and challenging
warm-ups are truly one-of-a-kind! We welcome him back
to our annual back to dance program.
Denise Oustalet
 Our resident “Queen of Ballet” has so many
credits we could not list them all! She has danced, choreographed,
and directed all variations of ballet across the United States
and Europe. Ms. Oustalet was resident ballet master for
N.O.C.C.A. for over 26 years and is still on staff for the public
school ballet programs in New Orleans, La. She is an artist
in demand with numerous ballet companies and we are honored to
be able to feature her works in our program. Our dancers
know they have been “at the barre” when Ms. “D” has
completed each of her sessions! We again, are very proud
to welcome her to our back to dance workshop and our weekly
staff!
Kevin Inouye
Coming to us from his new home in Michigan, Kevin is known for
his unique jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical styles. He has taught
and choreographed for studios across the U.S. He is known
for bringing positive energy to the classroom; motivating students
through the art of dance. Kevin has won several national
Mr. Dance titles as a competitor and is currently a co-director
for Hall of Fame National Dance Competition. He is always
excited to come to the Gulf Coast to share his ideas and insight
on dance. We welcome “Tokyo” back to Biloxi!
angie clark
Dancer, performer, and awesome lyrical, contemporary instructor-Angie
resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and two children.
She is on staff for several Atlanta studios, and we enjoyed viewing
her work on dancers at KAR Nationals in Panama City this summer. Angie
is not a stranger to the studio-she assisted Derek Reese for years
when she was living in the New Orleans area! We are so excited
to welcome her back as she brings her unique style to our program.
kevin herman
Kevin comes to us from California and is on staff at one of the
leading studios in that area. His areas of expertise include lyrical,
contemporary, and jazz. His students have won national titles at
many competitions,and he is in demand all over the U.S. for workshops,
choreography, and master classes. We are happy that Kevin once
again joins our fall workshop line up and continues to share his
L.A. style with us! |
Teacher, choreographer, master instructor holding a B.S.
and Master’s Degree from the University of Southern
Mississippi and celebrating
over 33 years of positive, quality dance instruction on the
Coast!! Directs studio classes
and competition teams. Has enjoyed watching her dancers
perform professionally
from Biloxi to New York City to Las Vegas. Mrs. Ward
is a National Adjudicator for dance competitions across the
country and has been the recipient of many top honors including “Choreographer
of the Year” at
Nationals. She would like to welcome all of her talented
dancers back to our annual workshop!
Teacher, co-director, and choreographer for studio classes and
NWD the company, holding a B.S. degree from the University
of Southern Mississippi. She is an Event Co-ordinator
and National judge for Kids Artistic Revue dance competition
and a number of dance & cheerleading squads. Azlyn
was chosen as a “Choreographer of the Year” at national
finals and is dedicated to sharing her love of dance through
positive instruction. Her motivational teaching styles lead to
award winning routines with the performance levels of her students
reaching new heights! 
Finishing
her degree at the Univeristy of Southern Mississippi,
Cydney brings her spirit and love for dance to our program. We
are excited to feature her high-energy hip-hop and jazz in our
workshop lineup. Cydney has won many awards for her choreography
and continues to be a classroom favorite at the dance center. She
also teaches and choreographs for dance teams across the coast!
She presently works at E-Fitness as a co-ordisnator and coach!
Anna
Taranto has been a dancer for Nancy's School of Dance for 17
years. She has won several regional and national titles as a
soloist and as a member of NWD the Company. She instructs students
of all ages, and she specializes in the areas of contemporary
and lyrical dance.
